Karma Kafe – Souk Al Bahar

Karma Kafe emits this glamorous vibe and as you walk across this Pan Asian themed restaurant you cannot miss the sophisticated decor and the upscale ambience this place let’s out. I was here to experience the Karma Kafe’s masterpiece three course tasting menu exclusively prepared for me.image

This restaurant has a breathtaking view of the fountain and the beautiful Burj Khalifa, I was so cheered up when I saw a table right next to perfect fountain view. The staff are very welcoming and made sure I was comfortable at all times. The Mocktails here have a very sharp and a prominent taste especially the Spicy Lemonade and Virgin Passion which calms your senses down while your body gets completely relaxed.image

Our 3 course tasting menu began with the Amuse Bouche, which was light and airy at the same time so temptingly delicious. After this fabulous modern fusion dish we moved to the appetizers which included Tuna Carpacio and Beef Gyoza. Two most overwhelming starters especially since they had Truffles which makes it even more enjoyable and palatable.image

Soon after we were done with the starters the attentive staff quickly filled our tables with the smoky hot mains, Oh what a delight it is to have the first bite of hot food. Our tables looked like I was having a mini feast. The Rack of Lamb with fried Aubergine and Vegetable Tempura is enough to make people envy with your amazing dinner. Strong texture of the lamb is what I found appetizing about this dish. Next up was the popular Angry Chicken, I wonder how someone can leave even a single morsel of this lovely chicken dish. Absolutely alluding especially with the aromatic Fried Rice. Lastly to fill that tiny space in my tummy we had the Vegetable Soba Noodles, I did like this dish but would say I have had better.image

And finally for the joyous Dessert Platter which looks like a piece of art in itself. It had Creme Brûlée, Chocolate Fondant and Chocolate Mousse with Lemon sauce. Dig into the sinful Fondant with the Icecream and you know what a excellent dessert should taste like. Creme Brûlée was too sour for my liking and the Mousse was fantastic especially if you have it with the Icecream.image

I am utterly delighted that I choose to go to Karma Kafe after the raving reviews I heard about it and now I am waiting for my family to come soon too Dubai so I can make them experience the Karma effect as well.
