High in the Sky, Afternoon Tea at Atmosphere – Burj Khalifa

Being quite loyal to my afternoon tea tradition, this time, I was at Atmosphere which takes it High Tea quite seriously. Located at level 123 this would be the most dazzling high tea at the iconic Burj Khalifa. From its phenomenal uninterrupted 360 degrees view of Dubai to the live harp player, this would surely be Dubai’s most opulent offering.

Expect the royal treatment as you begin with a fruity Homemade Ice Tea accompanied with a classic Berry and Cream serving and if these starters haven’t quite sate your appetite wait for the grand and heartier Armani High Tea Stand. The stand is as lavish, as it can get. With a selection of exquisite pastries and luxurious mini sandwiches, this would be a high tea affair which would impress even the fussiest ones.

Scones are fluffy and served with the best of raspberries and clotted cream. Tea and beverage options are vast, make the most of the tea ‘connoisseurs’ to get the finest cup. The little madeleines cakes are a pure indulgence; you wouldn’t regret it a bit. Washing these down was my Carribean Delight refreshment, iced tea with coconut texture, supreme.

The impeccably mannered staff to the floor to ceiling panorama, Atmosphere has it all. Be prepared to be swept off, as the lovely offerings will reel you in, This is high tea in every sense.
