Dubai has some of the best places for brunches and to my surprise even though there are so many places introducing this concept not many restaurants come across as exceptional leaving aside a few. On my recent invite to Grand Hyatt’s newly introduced brunch called Makan San, I was taken back by the variety and lovely options they have to offer.
Grand Hyatt is a 12 year old hotel in old Dubai and even after so many successful years this hotel has maintained its beauty and every corner has this charming effect on you which makes you want to stare at it for a while. This hotel is huge and so impressive, they have a rainforest theme which is commendable, absolutely gorgeous. I felt so privileged to be reviewing one of their 12 restaurants.
Peppercrab and Sushi restaurants come together every Friday and get to you the best they have to offer. Welcomed here with big smiles I got a perfect spot with a scenic view, feels good to know that this hotel has so much of nature around it.
Let me tell you about their Asian theme brunch and what they got to offer us. Starting with few appetizers Prawn Crackers, Fried Chicken, Fish, to a name a few and a range of different dips to try. I went for the most hot ones since it added a bit of more flavors to all the dishes. Next counter consisted of soups, sushis and a few live stations where the chef made for you some dishes according to your taste. My husbands fav was the sushi station, he filled his stomach with a few easily.
Apart from this they even got two kinds of Crab on our table. It looked appealing and taste wise was pleasant. A must mention is the tempting dumplings which were so good to have. Singapore Laksa was a another dish which I simply adored could have this everyday.
Well, if you think that is it, Don’t be fooled they have still a lot of dishes to go. Chicken Skewers, Egg Rice, Lamb, Noodles and a dozen few. Once you are done with the main course don’t forget to indulged in some sinful chocolate cake. Compared to the mains I did feel the dessert selection was a bit less and the ones which were presented weren’t the best I have had but the mains definitely filled my tummy up so I was alright.
My weekend surely started off with some delicious food so if you too are looking for a place with a variety of Asian cuisines, this is the place to be.
