Galvin Brothers from the UK have launched their second restaurant in Dubai, and unlike the first one, this restaurant is a full-fledged fine dining meal with a twist of French and Mediterranean charm. The head chef Luigi has always been passionate about cooking from a tender age, and his skills are showcased at Galvin where each dish is extraordinary.
We decided to try their new ‘Un brunch’ menu which is served every Friday, and for a three-course meal, you would be spending around 185dhs which isn’t bad for this place. From among five entree’s, it is difficult just to choose one but going by my liking towards seafood we decided to try the Seabass Carpaccio, and my plus one tried the utterly delicious Duck Samosa. Both the dishes were admirable and the texture just on point!
For our mains we took the suggestion of our server who recommended us to try the Chicken and the Braised Lamb Shoulder, I am so glad we went with his opinion as the different ingredients balance the overall flavours superbly well. The Lamb was extremely tender and luscious.
I am not a big fan of desserts but their Chocolate Fondant was rich and scrumptious, I couldn’t stop myself from finishing it. The Profiteroles were decent but not as good as the Fondant, guess I have to come another time to give it a try.
The ‘Un brunch’ menu does justice to the price, with the sophisticated menu and the tempting menu this is a place I would love to come again.
