Best Turkish Restaurants in Dubai

When I first travelled to Turkey it was just for the attractions but my next few visits have been solely to explore the culinary side of this grand country. From Pide, Manti, Kebabs, Grils and the innovative ways of serving some fabulous desserts be it Kunefe or Mahalabiya, you will forever be mesmerised by Turkish cuisine as the variety of dishes is infinite. Turkey, is a massive country and each area has its own way of serving some of their contemporary dishes, so here are ten best restaurants in Dubai who try to charm you with their wondrous food. Let me know which one is your favourite?

Galliard, Address (Downtown Dubai) – It must have just been a few weeks since this famous restaurant from Turkey has finally opened its doors in Dubai but when it comes to building a fan base there are already people who are loving this place. From their interiors to the Burj Khalifa view and down to the food, you will love this place.

Kaftan, Multiple Locations  Since we are moving towards the winters it’s the perfect time to head to Kaftan and sit in that adorable garden and have some warm Pide. I usually go here for breakfast as the flavours of each of their dish is divine and it’s a good way to the start the day.

Ruya, Grosvenor House – This fine dining restaurant serving a modern Andalusian cuisine has got to be one of my favourites as it’s decor and ambience does an impressive job and the talented chefs never disappoint you when it comes to the food.

Lalezar, Jumeirah Zabeel Saray – When it comes to opulence and exquisite decor this grand Turkish restaurant in Jumeirah Zabeel Saray leaves no stones unturned. Heaty dishes will fulfil your desire for exceptional Turkish food and top-notch service will make your meal here a memorable affair.

Zou Zou, La Mer – With a beautiful view of the La Mer beach this restaurant has a colourful theme to it but the reason I suggest you try this place is because of their divine ‘Kebabs’, it’s tempting and literally melts in your mouth.

Mado, Multiple Locations – This worldwide popular restaurant doesn’t need any introduction, its mastered the art of serving some delectable dishes and apart from that even their bakery, and dessert section is applause worthy.

The Kasap, Ibn Battuta Mall – After a long day of retail therapy at Ibn Battuta mall you can head to The Kasap for there succulent meat or their incredible coffee. Their food is as good as any fine dining restaurant but with a more casual and fun vibe. The quality of the food is supreme and one that lingers on your palette for a long time to come.

Besh, Sheraton Hotel – When it comes to sampling authentic Turkish food, Besh is the place I would suggest. Here, they try to recreate recipes which have been passed from generations and the outdoor terrace can also be used for get-togethers with friends over ‘Sheesha’.

Nusr-et Steakhouse, Four Seasons – If you must have seen the viral videos of ‘Salt Bae’ you need to try his restaurant in Four Seasons to believe the hype around their meats. Don’t be surprised if you bump into one or two celebrities or the legend ‘Nusret Gökçe aka Salt Bae himself.

Gurkan, Citywalk – Turkey’s first certified butcher and celebrity chef has started his very own restaurant in Citywalk. Overlooking the Burj Khalifa you can enjoy a beautiful meal here, and don’t forget to try their marvellous meats and delectable desserts.

So when you have to choose for a satisfying and contemplating Turkish restaurant look no further than this, being highly acclaimed and loved by many of us these are some of the Turkish restaurants which will never dissatisfy you.
