Monastery of Panayia Nikous is a mere 800 metres away from hora, another place to check out for cultural buffs, along with the Byzantine Museum

The springs are located in the village of Loutra and are believed to have healing properties for a variety of ailments. Getting to Kythnos – Kythnos is easily accessible from Athens, with regular ferry services departing from the port of Lavrion. The journey takes approximately two hours, and there are several ferry operators to choose from.
