Best Italian Restaurants in Dubai

We all are familiar with Italian cuisine and it’s easily available in most of the countries you go too. In Dubai as well this cuisine is extremely popular. I had done a round-up list in 2017 for Best Italian Restaurants but I had to create an entirely new one in a span of a year as there have been more exceptional restaurants which have taken over the Dubai food scene, so here is my take on Dubai’s ten best Italian restaurants 2018.

Luigia, Rixos Premium – Nestled in Rixos Premium hotel this Italian restaurant has an extensive menu and is known for serving authentic home-style dishes. The atmosphere is fun and lively and they even have a kids play area so you can enjoy your food in peace while the kids have a gala time too.

Bianca, JBR – This restaurant serves some of the traditional favourites from Naples along with a few Middle Eastern varieties to cater to the UAE market. I love the selection and the quality of their dishes. Burrata and Mozzarella cheese are sourced locally and it tastes sensational.

Carine, Emirates Golf Club – Chef Izu is a celebrity chef and with his number of restaurants his popularity keeps on increasing too. With the opening of Carine in Emirates Golf Club, he defines what incredible Italian food tastes like. The decor is superb and the vibe is sophisticated to make your meal incredible here.

Il Borro Tuscan Bistro, Jumeirah Al Naseem – From the Tuscan region of Italy comes this exclusive restaurant to Dubai. The food is scrumptious and the passion for Italian food is showcased in each of their dishes. If you have a special occasion, this place should be considered first. The only restaurant to feature twice in my round up of 2017 and 2018.

Scalini, Four Seasons – Already popular in London’s, Mayfair, this restaurant is set to make a mark in the Dubai culinary scene too. With contemporary decor and a vibrant variety of dishes, this place knows how to please its guests.

Matto, The Oberoi – The Oberoi Dubai already has a few distinctive restaurants and one of them being Matto. From the same management which bought us the great Indie and Iris, here is to another brilliant concept. There has never been a dull moment with service, decor or the food. A nice option to go with friends.

Quattro Passi, Five – Chef Antonio Mellino charms it’s guest with his simple yet beautiful food. His team’s efforts led him and his restaurant into winning two Michelin stars in Italy. His passion is seen in his dishes with everything being perfectly curated by the master himself.

Basta, Renaissance – After being mesmerised by the interiors of this restaurant get ready to go on a culinary feast. It’s so difficult to choose from the menu as most of the dishes sound amazing, each dish has a unique texture and fabulous presentation which is why Basta is so appealing to me.

Cova, Dubai Mall – One of the oldest pastry shops in Milan, this restaurant has perfected its game when it comes to its food. Their desserts are no doubt exceptional but their food is also a winner. Having a gorgeous spot in The Dubai Mall it’s a nice place for a splendid meal.

Via Veneto, Downtown Dubai – With the phenomenal views of the Burj Khalifa this restaurant in Downtown Dubai is winning many people’s heart. With its rustic decor and a wide range of Italian fare, you won’t be disappointed when it comes down to food.

There are plenty of places to find Italian food in Dubai, some places you might go again and some you might never want to talk about but with these dynamic selections, you will never run out of options.
