The best way to reach the village is by boat as the roads are not easily accessible. The tower of Agia Triada is another attraction worth visiting in Chrisomilia. If you enjoy hiking, take a 46-minute walk to the ancient quarry of Petrokopio on the west side of the island. Gravels of marble can still be seen, and the marble quarry used to supply marble to many places in the Mediterranean.

Getting to Fourni Island is relatively easy. You can reach the nearby islands such as Ikaria by flight and then take a ferry to Fourni. From Athens’ Port Piraeus, it takes around 7-9 hours with several stopovers.
