Make your Saturday Night Count with Jazz At Bistrot Bagatelle

Bagatelle mimics the perfect Parisian themed place which transports you to a classic fine dining restaurant in France which apart from its food would also be known for its lively ambience, sophisticated crowd, and flattering interiors. To make things more realistic, they even have a jazz band playing every Saturday night, making your time here, delightful.

Chef Timothy Newton’s menu consists of classic dishes but with a modern twist to it. Going with the hostess suggestion was a decent idea as it saved my time, debating on which dish is the best. Yellow Fin Tuna with Soy Lime dressing packed a flavourful punch. Wild Red Snapper with Ponzu and Grape garnishing were subtly excellent.

The impeccably French dish was their Lamb Shank, wonderfully tender and presented perfectly. Homemade Gnocchi was moist with a strong texture of truffle would be adored by people who fancy the earthy flavours of Truffles.

The range of desserts include some classic hits such as Profiteroles, Pavlova, and Vanilla Pannacotta. For me, the creme-filled Profiteroles worked its magic, slightly crisp coating with a hint of chocolate and sea salt was exceptional.

While I enjoyed my meal here at Bistrot Bagatelle, the entertainment was taken care by the charming musicians and the live Jazz singer.
