Suq – Four Seasons Resort, Dubai

Four Seasons another charming resort in Dubai boasts some fine dining restaurants at its very best. This was my first time visiting this ravishing hotel and I was thrilled for my tasting at one of their restaurant called Suq. It’s not like Dubai lacks decent restaurant but which are the ones which will please your stomach ? I have a list there too and every restaurant has something which can get me anticipatedly impatient for their specialties in terms of food.image

Suq every Thursday has ‘Desi Night’ and being the weekend I knew the night would end with my stomach feeling full and my heart feeling happy about it. Weather being so pleasant it is a good time to sit outdoors in the romantic lighting of this restaurant. Beginning this long awaited day with a sour punch of Berry Mocktail is a perfect way to get started. The menu is kept limited so a nice way to try a few dishes here.

As I restlessly waited for my starters and soup when they arrived it quickly filled our table with a aromatic scent.
Murg Kali Mirch Shorba – An excellent example of Indian chicken soup, all herbs and spices come together brilliantly.
Chicken Tikka – I did like it with the Green Chutney but I just wish the pieces were a bit smaller so it could have been more juicier.
Grilled Prawns – Stong succulent meat is too hard to resist, Excellent dish.

Mains consisted of some classic Indian dishes which are massive in quantity and quality of all the food is absolutely rich.
Rogan Josh – Intense sharp flavours of the gravy go really well with the hot Naans and Kulchas.
Murg Tikka – A sweet saucy gravy to opt for. It doesn’t feels too heavy and can be enjoyed with rice or breads.
Chicken Tikka Biryani – No doubt it had a lovely presentation but it could have more flavoursome texture. I felt it lacked a bit of ‘masala’ and the chicken pieces should have been more tender to make this a special dish too.

Desserts did win my heart here two of the most welcomed sweets Rasmalai and Gajar ka Halwa were thoroughly enjoyed and relished till the last bite.

I loved my time spent in this restaurant and the food wasn’t oily or gresy which made it light for the stomach as well. My evening ended on a great note and I would sure come here for more.
