Gaucho – DIFC

Exuberant restaurant with beautifully modern decor, a place to impress and relax with your friends or even perfect for a business affair. Gaucho is a acclaimed restaurant in London with having branches pretty much in all glorious spots and now in Dubai too. I was here for a tasting session and trust me it was a splendid place to be especially after a busy week.image

After being struck by the marvelous decor I took a look at the menu and began our lovely evening with some mocktails and appetizers. I like Elderflower so had to go for this drink since it is not available everywhere and the very girly Berry Blast which is refreshingly fresh. Before our starters touched our table I pretty much filled my stomach with the hot warm breads, they taste so good especially when it is warm and crisp.image

Evening commenced when huge bowls of starters kept coming on our table and I quickly began with the Empanadas. Crab and Chicken empanadas with the tomato dip were filling, if not had with the dip it would have been a little dry. Chorizo Sausage is one of the most tastiest meat in my preference especially if you are at Gaucho, they make it excellently well. From the new menu which is going to launch this Monday I tried the Tuna which is extremely palatable.image

Mains are another grand feast here especially going by the size and if you order some sides it get’s difficult to finish everything. I went for the Truffle Rissoto which at first was a little undercooked but the attentive staff saw this and got me another one within minutes. Rib Eye on the other hand was absolutely flavourfull and juicylicious, try it with the mushroom sauce for more tantalising flavours. My side was Stuffed Peppers and Truffle Fries which are delectable and the smokiness of the peppers makes you go for more.                image

How can I end my meal without trying the dessert so here I was trying Chocolate and Orange Tart and Salted Dulce Leche with Hazelnut Cheesecake. I personally feel chocolate goes best with orange and this tart proved me right, it tasted heavenly. The Cheesecake too was sinfully magical but not as much as the chocolate tart.image

I loved my time at Gaucho and would definitely be visiting more often now especially if I go back home to London. If anyone of you have visited this place there is a charm in this restaurant which keeps you calling for more great time and delicious food.
