Gold Coast’s best Attractions

Gold Coast is a destination for everyone. Theme parks, wildlife, exhilarating water-sports and most importantly stunning beaches. Gold Coast is the fun place to go where you can forget about your worries and indulge in entertainment, shopping or adore lazing around some spas nevertheless you are never short of intriguing things to do and see around the hood.

Harbour Town – This is Australia’s largest outlet store, and even if you are not into shopping you can be delighted with some fun restaurants, or head to see some movie. There are some extraordinary offers going on all year round, and you won’t be disappointed spending your time at this gigantic mall.

Pacific fair – This newly opened shopping centre is Queen-lands largest shopping centre but I won’t be surprised if more malls pop up around as the locals and tourists love to spend there time indulging in retail therapy. Apart from eating and shopping you can head to their Play Street and take part in a giant slide or climb a wall. There is a free shuttle service available in few parts of the city to make your day even better.

Sea world – This place is a whole new world of adventure especially if you love marine animals. Apart from the sea life, you can even go on some rides as this place is also a theme park. Watch some shows or feed the mammals either way you can going to have a marvellous time here. The kids can spend some time at the Castaway Bay which is an interactive splash zone for kids.

Sky point observation deck – It still gives me jitters when I remember seeing this alluring city from the observatory. I went in the evening and Golf Coast just shimmers with its artistic skyline. There is a decent cafeteria here too so either you can buy some nibbles or indulge in a relaxing afternoon tea while relishing over the skyline of Gold Coast.

Mt Tamborine and Glow warm Search – Blessed with some exceptional rainforest and waterfalls Gold Coast is a treat for people who love to spend time close to nature. Tamborine National Park has intriguing flora and fauna along with some unique animals to look out for. You can take a night tour here as it makes the experience even more challenging, and if you do end up heading here at night you can even witness some Glow Worms which lit up closer to the waterfall. I booked my adventure from KKDay and the guide was entertaining and informative.

Warner Bros, Movie World – Gold Coast is like the land of theme parks in Australia they have something for everyone be it a kid or an adult you are in for a wonderful time in this land. My favourite theme park here is Warner Bros. as it has some fantastic shows, exhilarating rollercoasters and delicious food. Many even buy an annual pass as it’s a place to head a couple of times especially if you have young kids.

Australian outback Spectacular Show – This recent addition to Gold Coast is something which will give you a true taste of Australian Outback and you will love every moment of this show. Apart from the show you even get to savour on a three course meal while appreciating the songs, dance, animals and the fantastic cast. You are in for quite an amusing night.

Springbrook National Park – This park located in the Gold Coast hinterland of Queensland is truly enchanting. Take a walk amidst the nature with the hint of eucalyptus in the air is very much relaxing and would make you forget all your worry’s. The twin fall and the natural bridge make for a great Instagram spot and if you’re a nature lover you can roam around here for hours with a feeling of peace and joy.

Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary – Take a day out with your family to appreciate the wildlife at this delightful sanctuary. This place was built in 1947 and later in 2009 it was added in the Queensland Heritage Register. You can feed birds here, watch the crocodiles, see some shows or take a ride on their miniature train, no wonder this place is so popular among the tourists.

Even though you need a good amount of time to check out this exuberant city you will love every bit of it. If you do have more then a week check out Surfers Paradise, Broadbeach, Burleigh Heads or Miami Marketta on the weekend. Another fun thing to do see is the ‘Spirit of the Red Sand‘ an Aboriginal Live Theatre Show.

For young adults as well there is plenty of things to do like Holoverse which is a futuristic arcade, O’Reilly’s Tree Top Walk, Ice Age Mini Golf, or Infinity Attraction to challenge your senses.
